Fourth in a series, Grantsburg Public Library is offering a book study featuring “Just Mercy: A Story of Racism and Redemption” by Bryan Stevenson.
“Just Mercy is at once an unforgettable account of an idealistic, gifted young lawyer’s coming of age, a moving window into the lives of those he has defended, and an inspiring argument for compassion in the pursuit of true justice.” Book description provided by the publisher.
Participants will read the entire book and come ready to join casual and judgment-free conservation. The book study is facilitated by Mandi Amundson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Certified Substance Abuse Therapist.
A limited number of books will be available to checkout through the Curbside Pickup Service or by appointment at Grantsburg Public Library. BOOKS ARE ON ORDER FOR THIS EVENT. Please schedule a pickup time using the library’s online form or by calling the library.
