Storytime @ Home Kits – New This Fall!
We are SO EXCITED to announce a new way for storytime families and caregivers to engage with preschool storytime this fall! The library is offering Storytime @ Home Kits for our preschool storytime attendees and their caregivers. Kits will be available September, October, and November this fall.
Each kit contains an early literacy component, a craft, a calendar, and other activities. Storytime booklists will be included. These kits are free for you to keep.
Storytime @ Home Kits are designed to be used at your convenience. The activities are analog (no internet required). You may choose to use the activities during Facebook Live storytime, but these activities may be enjoyed at any time – you know your family best.
In addition to Storytime @ Home Kits, the library is offering a “Book Bundle” option. Library staff will select five books for your child that will be checked out to you at the time of kit pickup. These books will need to be returned to the library, like all other library materials.
Please register each child for a kit. The supplies included are designed for one child, ages 2-5. Kits are limited and are first requested, first supplied.
